Hostel: aka The Bunkhouse
Bunkhouse
A large, coed room with 6 beds (3 bunk-beds). The hostel is complete with three screened and curtained windows, A/C, heat, a ceiling fan, hooks for towels and toiletry cases, and plenty of space between beds. The beds come with sheets and pillows on them and one towel per guest. There are extra blankets if needed.
The hostel, while not a bed and breakfast, also features a separate kitchen area with hotplates, a toaster oven, a mini-fridge where guests may store their perishable food, and shelves stocked with dry food and dishes. Bread, oatmeal, fruit, butter, tea, coffee, and jam are all provided free of charge.
There is one shared bathroom with a shower in the hostel.
The hostel and Inn share a landscaped backyard, covered front porch, deck and patio with outdoor tables, chairs, and umbrella and garden beds festooned with flowers and herbs.

The Inn: Private Rooms
Three private rooms are available. They are named after various neighborhoods in Charlottesville: Belmont, Fifeville, and Vinegar Hill. Each room contains one double bed, with the exception of Vinegar Hill, which also contains one single bed.
The Inn also features a lovely, sunny dining room with floor to ceiling windows on two walls. The living room is appointed with two sofas, chairs and a computer (old and cantankerous, but functional). The separate kitchen has hotplates, a toaster oven, a refrigerator where guests may store their perishable food, and shelves stocked with dry food and dishes. Bread, oatmeal, fruit, butter, tea, coffee, and jam are all provided free of charge.
There is one shared bathroom with a shower in the inn.

Well technically, it’s not a deposit. We require your credit card information or a check in the amount of one night’s stay to reserve a room. (Upon arrival, payment must be made in full by cash or check.)

Well, technically it is not a refund. We do not cash your check or charge your credit card if you cancel your reservation within an appropriate time period. We will charge your credit card or cash your check for the deposit amount if you fail to cancel your reservation within:
48 hours notice for a bunkhouse bed
Two weeks notice for a private room
One month notice for a whole Inn or whole bunkhouse rental
